The Long Island Rail Road series consists of over one hundred drawings created over an eight- year period.  Drawn on LIRR ticket stubs during a period of time when he collaborated with artists as a Master Printer, these drawings have a frenetic energy that reflects Dakoji’s transit from Manhattan to Babylon, NY. We can see many of the animal and figurative motifs of his larger works in these intimate studies.
